Umar Akmal’s hearing is set for 27th April on anti-corruption charges

The chairman of the disciplinary committee Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan set date for Umar Akmal hearing on 27th April. He issued a notice to Umar Akmal and PCB to ensure their presence is hearing, the hearing will take place at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore.

Akmal was charged in two different violations of article 2.4.4 of the PCB anit-corruption code in two different events. Due to coronavirus pandemic, authorities will take proper safety precautions until the proceeding is finished. Due to these charges Akmal didn’t participate in Pakistan super league 2020 matches.

Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan the Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel has declared his decision, on which PCB will not do any comment on this matter, The article 2.4.4 of the PCB anti-corruption code is as follows:
