The double-decker bus service is aimed towards promoting tourism in Rawalpindi and Islamabad after Eid ul Fitr. The service was delayed due to the pandemic outbreak. The plans are to resume the service after Eid. The double-decker promotes the culture of the Potohar region which is aimed towards encouraging tourism.

Pakistan has many beautiful sights which are left unseen and unnoticed by travelers. There must be a proper service which can be used by the visitors so they can enjoy and visit all the notable places in Pakistan.
Punjab chief minister’s adviser on horticulture and tourism said that this double-decker bus project was delayed due to the coronavirus but the bus service is said to be launched after Eid. Tourists will get to see Faysal Mosque, Marghrzar Zoo, Daman-e-Koh, Shakarparian, Constitution Avenue, Lok Virsa, and much more. The plan is to pick tourists from Allama Iqbal Pak Rawalpindi and then move towards Islamabad. There will be a stop at the above-mentioned places and then the bus will go back to the starting point.
The chief minister also said that he wants locals as well as the foreign tourists to explore and learn more about Pakistan culture and its history. The main purpose is to enhance tourism and motivate local and international visitors and explore the beauty of Pakistan.
