A Hollywood writer broke the news on Twitter that Walt Disney – The entertainment empire is set to deliver a short film about a Pakistani family CELEBRATING EID IN AMERICA. Fantastico!
The media giant has posted the casting requirements and the application link which is available to individuals with no acting experience – gave they fit the bill. And and… obviously, the door is just open for individuals situated in Los Angeles.
The story revolves around the young character of the film named Ameena – A 8 year old girl and Zara – her elder sister. The story also incorporates their parents and a grandparent.
The Story plot: This pleasant girl Ameena, has a mission – a mission to CELEBRATING EID IN AMERICA! Ameena eagerly wants to observe Eid occasion in the USA. Eid isn’t perceived as a national holiday in America in this manner, Ameena realizes she will be attending school on the day of celebration. Moreover, her parents are also obliged to go to work during the merry celebration. Ameena in her mission to observe Eid flows a petition around her school in the earnest hope of getting the day off to enjoy the festivity.
When this news approaches to Zara – who is making enormous efforts to fit in her new school, attempts her best to adjust towards the western culture, wear short clothes that reveal her legs, desires to be called Z and practices American pronunciation – turns out to be very irate.
Ameena expresses her dismay when the elder one quits conversing with her baby sister over this matter. Relating to Ameena’s desire to observe Eid tradition in US, immense squabble erupts between the sisters.
